At the Ballet

Does anyone else have fond childhood memories of tutus, pink ballet slippers, pirouettes, piqués, and pliés? I studies ballet for eleven years (from the age of 3 to 14), and every now and then I still catch myself twirling across a room or pointing my toe. Isn't everything just beautiful about ballet?
Why didn't my ballet slippers ever have jewels all over them??? Happy Monday, dolls!

That last picture is worthy of much envy--I can't imagine how happy I'd be if I got a jeweled pair when I was little! (Or now in a pair of ballet flats. ;))

Yes, yes, yes, oh, I loved ballet when I was a little girl! I still have a lot of my ballerina memorabilia & photos, & I've incorporated them here&there in little bits in my daughter's room. =) I hope maybe she'll take an interest in ballet when she gets a little older, although she's already showing signs of being a natural little gymnast. I just love all the classy duds & graceful dances. =)

Tagged you in yesterday's post, BTW!
